How can we help?

  • How do I decide which property to invest in?

There are many factors involved in deciding which property to invest in. The common factor is that it always needs to suit your personal investment goals and needs.

Location, property type, cost and developer are just a few of the things you might want to consider. To help you decide, our team will listen to your goals and select the property or properties that best match your needs.

  • Can I invest in a UK property from overseas?

The short answer is yes. However, there are slightly different rules and restrictions that will depend on your situation.

We can give you all the information you need on the processes for buying in the UK from overseas. Simply organise a call with one of our team to discuss your plan.

  • Who deals with the day to day running?

We will find your tenants, take care of any tenant requests and upkeep, and generally deal with all of the admin required to manage your property for you.

  • Can you advise me on mortgages?

There are a number of mortgage brokers that offer attractive interest rates for both UK residents, and if you’re buying from overseas.

If you want to invest through a limited company, we can also help you to understand how to do this in the most tax efficient way.

  • Is my money going to be safe?

Our team carries out extensive due diligence on developers and thorough checks on the finer details of every property investment opportunity, before we even put it in front of you.

We provide you with in-depth suitability reports that set out the development details, our reasons for recommending the property, including the investment opportunity in layman’s terms, so you know exactly what to expect.

We keep you informed at every stage of the purchase process so you can review and verify the details before going ahead.

  • What fees are involved?

Stamp Duty Land Tax is payable when you purchase a traditional residential property in the UK. Legal fees will also be due on UK property purchases.

Our team’s main aim is to guide you through the property investment process so that you feel confident and supported at every stage.

We charge a small fee to investors, which you often get back in other ways such as discounts from the property developers we work with. Using our services in no way affects the returns you make from your investment.

  • What’s the process for investing in a property?

When you get in touch with us initially, it’s time for us to ask all of the questions about what you’re looking to achieve through property investment.

Then comes the exciting part. We supply you with a list of properties that we have identified as perfect to help you reach your goals. This comes with all of the detailed information you need to make an informed decision on the best way forward.

Once you’ve chosen your property you will need to reserve it and secure it. This involves completing a reservation agreement, which requires various proofs of ID and the transfer of a fee.

You’ve secured the property, now it’s time to purchase. We’ll take you through each stage of this process, alongside your solicitor, and explain everything you need to know at each point.

Purchase complete, you’re now ready to hand it over to someone to take care of finding and securing tenants, and the ongoing day-to-day management and upkeep, all of which IPG can also support you with.

Currently there are several cities in the UK that are seeing major developments, therefore offering great opportunities for buy to let investors. Some of these cities include Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool.

We undertake extensive due diligence and research on each property investment and location and consider how it fits with your personal circumstances before we present it to you.

  • Are there any tax benefits of using a limited company to purchase a buy-to-let property?

Yes, many. To name a few, you will be able to take advantage of:

    • Deduct your entire mortgage interest from your UK tax bill
    • Taxed at corporation tax rates, rather than income tax rates
    • Efficiently take income from your property
  • What is the minimum investment needed?

The minimum investment needed is £50,000.
